big long smelly day

Boy, it has been a long time since I have started a new job.  I desperately applied to a handful of places in hopes of acquiring yet another part-time job.  After a few disappointments, I got a job at the beloved Crate & Barrel.  This, in addition to working at school, will help keep me alive this summer.  Financially, that is.  My first day is today, and I have to admit, I’m a bit nervous.

In other news, I love smells.  Good smells in particular.  The new scent of the season is barbeque.  As I wander around my neighborhood waiting for Speedo to relieve herself, I can’t help but peek around fences watching everyone enjoy themselves next to the grill.  Or the punks in my building grilling on the rooftop located conveniently outside my window.  This winter I will douse myself in barbeque sauce and parade around making everyone jealous of my tasty smell.
